Yamazen Inc. would like to extend a big “thank you” to all who attended our inaugural Texas Support and Technical Center Open House. We opened our doors for two days, May 13th and 14th, for visitors to tour the new facility and to see some of the latest machine tool demonstrations with the most advanced manufacturing technologies.

The machinery demonstrated included the new Brother Speedio Compact Machining Centers along with products from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitutoyo, Takisawa. Visitors learned about new high speed milling techniques, 3+2 machining strategies, advanced tooling, Brother's proprietary tool change canned cycle, principles behind Brother's proprietary synchronous tapping cycle and many other features available only on the next generation Brother C00 control.

Also shown was the new, powerful Takisawa TS-4000YS mill turn lathe with its full 10 horsepower, 6000 RPM milling spindle. Live cutting demos included bar pulling, synchronized main and sub spindle control, and our torque sensing feature. When enabled, the sub spindle acts as a tailstock for shaft work.

To see a live demonstration of our products or to tour our facility, please call 847-882-8800. You can also visit us at IMTS, Booth #8640, September 8 ‑ 13, 2014 McCormick Place -Chicago, Illinois.
