The most important factors when
selecting a CNC rotary table are
machine compatibility, required
axes of movement, workpiece weight,
table dimensions, positioning
accuracy, indexing speed, and
clamping rigidity. The system
must also provide sufficient
clearance for the fixture,
cutting tool, and spindle.
Applications requiring simple
indexing may need a different
configuration from those requiring
continuous rotary movement or
simultaneous 5-axis machining.
For example, the Brother SPEEDIO
T-200A offers indexing speeds
up to 100 rpm, but that specification
should be evaluated alongside
machine compatibility and the
application's cutting requirements.
