An Updated Message On Current Business Posture and Protocols at Yamazen-April 28, 2020

UPDATED April 3, 2020

To our Valued Customers,

As we all face unprecedented challenges dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to update you with our current business posture and protocols that Yamazen Inc. has placed into effect.

First, and most importantly, we are concerned with the well-being of our employees, vendor partners, customers and our communities. Over the past week several states have enacted shelter-in-place orders, limiting activities to essential businesses only. After careful review of these orders, Yamazen Inc. has determined that it is in fact an essential supply chain business providing needed parts, tooling and support for customers who produce essential products. Therefore, it was decided on Monday, March 23rd, that Yamazen will continue with the temporary closure of its offices within the United States, including our Schaumburg, Illinois headquarters, where we are not accepting any visitors. We will however continue essential operations with a small staff working with our customers performing essential business operations. This closure is expected to last through April 30st.

Our technical support resources are available on a limited basis. Spare parts and telephone phone support remain unaffected; however, staff levels are reduced, and some delays may be expected. Onsite service and application support at your facility is available to customers who complete an affidavit affirming that your business is an essential business and operation, and that your company has instituted appropriate procedures to limit the transmission of COVID-19 and that there have been no known cases of COVID-19 within the last 14 days. Please contact our service line for additional information, or to request onsite support.

We have temporarily paused all face-to-face sales activities, and we will not show up at your facility unannounced. We remain available for teleconferencing or phone calls which we believe are the most appropriate form of contact currently. We have stopped all international and domestic air travel over the next two weeks.

Finally, we ask for your patience and understanding while we work to satisfy as many urgent needs as possible. We have done our best to outline a path for our behavior that is consistent with safety and business continuity. Although we are not sure how things will change in the days or weeks ahead, as they do change, we will adjust accordingly and inform you all. Please be safe.

Best regards,

YAMAZEN INC. SENIOR MANAGEMENT
