CT Machining Event September 25

-- Join Us for a Machining Event in Connecticut --

Bridging the Skills Gap with Automation for Aerospace and Medical Machining

Please join us for a night of presentations and demos covering “Bridging the Skills Gap with Automation for Machine Tools in the Aerospace and Medical Fields.” The event will be held at Yamazen Inc.’s new state-of-the-art showroom in Newington, CT. Yamazen focuses on high-end Japanese machine tools that provide their customers with many automation options. Yamazen offers Brother milling machines with custom robotic integration, Matsuura 5 axis milling machines with compact integrated pallets pools, Takisawa lathes with internal automation capabilities and large machining centers from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Gary Frick, Director/Manager of Yamazen Automation Group, and David Hudson, VP of Sales and Marketing at Matsuura Machinery USA, will discuss why automation is not the future of manufacturing in New England, but rather a requirement to compete with local competitors as well as countries with very low labor rates. Learn how to take your most valuable and skilled employees to a new level and increase your throughput without adding staff.

The presentation and tour will cover:

  • Yamazen’s new FLEX2 robotic cell and how it reduces man hours via integrated robotic machine loading and unloading with Brother machine tools.
  • A discussion on how Matsuura reduces labor time by palletizing high-end aerospace and medical parts.
  • A demonstration showing Takisawa’s integrated loading and unloading of turned components.
  • Tour of the Yamazen showroom.
